Making & delivery

Every PARACELART book is embroidered after you order it. This page explains how long that takes, how your book travels to you, and what to do if your date is close.

Making time

Once your order is placed, your names, date and motif are stitched onto the linen cover. Please allow 5–7 business days for making. Every book is made by hand, so this can vary a little, especially at busy times of year. Because embroidery begins soon after an order is placed, changes to spelling, dates, linen shade or motif are possible only before stitching starts. If you spot an error, contact the studio straight away with your order number.

Delivery in the United States

Finished books ship from our fulfillment hub in California with tracking and usually arrive within a further 5–7 business days. Taken together, most orders arrive about 2–3 weeks after the order date. Standard shipping is a flat $6.95 anywhere in the United States, added at checkout, and you will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel is on its way. Orders ship domestically, so there are no customs fees.

Need it by a certain date?

Tell us the date in the order note at checkout and we will do our best to meet it. For weddings we recommend ordering at least four weeks ahead. If your date is very close, contact the studio before ordering so we can confirm what is possible.

Outside the United States

For now, we ship within the United States only. If you would like a book sent elsewhere, contact the studio before ordering and we will let you know what is possible.

Shipping address

Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout. Address changes are possible until your parcel has shipped; after that, we are unable to redirect it. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete, we will contact you to arrange redelivery, and a further shipping charge may apply.

Lost or damaged in transit

If your book arrives damaged, or tracking shows it lost in transit, contact the studio within 7 days of the delivery date with your order number and, for damage, a few photographs. We will replace the book or refund you. Details are in our Returns & care policy.
