Returns & care

Every PARACELART book is embroidered to order with your names, your date and your chosen motif. Because each one is made for you alone, our returns policy is a little different from an ordinary shop. Here is how it works.

Personalized keepsakes

Personalized books are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind, a change of linen shade or motif, or an error in the names or date entered at checkout. Please read your personalization once more before you add a book to your bag; our personalization guide explains each choice.

Changes and cancellations

Embroidery begins soon after an order is placed. Changes to spelling, dates, linen shade or motif, and cancellations for a full refund, are possible only before stitching starts. If you need to change or cancel, contact the studio straight away with your order number. Once a name has been stitched we are not able to remake the book free of charge.

Damaged, defective or incorrect

If your book arrives damaged, has a defect in the linen, binding or embroidery, or is not what you ordered, contact the studio within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a few photographs. We will replace the book at no cost to you, or refund you if a replacement is not possible. Please keep the original packaging until we have replied.

Lost in transit

If tracking shows your parcel lost, let us know within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we will replace the book or refund you. Our Making & delivery policy has the details.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of our confirmation, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Gift cards

Gift cards are delivered digitally, never expire, and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, except where required by law.

Caring for your keepsake

Keep the linen cover dry and store the book out of direct sunlight. Spot-clean marks with a barely damp cloth; do not soak, machine-wash or iron the cover. Handle the embroidery gently, and keep the book flat or upright on a shelf rather than under heavy objects. Cared for this way, a PARACELART book is made to be kept for a lifetime.
